Education & Development
is geared towards training and educating activists in areas of personal development, education, and contemporary social issues. 'Youth Development' & 'Reviving Families' are two programs that are geared toward fostering practical transformation in our society. Team-building, events planning, goals setting, strategic planning, interpersonal relations, prioritizing, time-management, writing, public speaking, self-confidence and professional development are some of the topics that are taught by experts. Hopefully the training offered can have practical meaning in an activist's context.
REVIVING FAMILIES:
Marital discord, exorbitant dowers, deviant divorce, adolescent rebellion and domestic violence are some of the problems that are confronting families in the West. This has contributed to the dissolution of the Islamic family structure on a large scale. The Islamic Legal Tradition focuses on prevention above cures to societal ailments. There is a dire need now to revive the Muslim family by presenting methods of preventing the breakdown of families in the West.
